Danielle and Rodrigo’s wedding took place at the luxurious and ultra-chic Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, Florida. For a destination wedding with a modern vibe, there is no better venue! The Florida sun was warm, and the afternoon breeze was beautiful for our couple’s perfect wedding day! Full of love from family and friends, and as a true reflection of their love for each other, Danielle and Rodrigo’s wedding day was overflowing with joy and memorable moments!

My foundational inspiration for this shoot was cotton candy! The fluffy texture and pretty pastel colors of traditional carnival-style cotton candy came to life in my mind as an outside-of-the-box wedding theme that I just had to make a reality. So often couples choose traditional colors, styles and themes that have been done over and over again, and I wanted to bring something fresh and exciting to the table to inspire couples to incorporate fun, whimsy, and personality into their wedding day!

Maddie and Chase had their wedding at the breathtaking Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, a venue that was able to shine even more with the gorgeous weather! Florida lived up to its nickname “The Sunshine State” on this special day especially with their stunning golden hour portraits. The love Maddie and Chase share with one another is undeniable! It was truly so special for everyone lucky enough to witness their magical day!

The inspiration for this shoot started with a site visit at The Whitehurst Gallery in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The architectural elements on the interior and exterior of the building represent true artistry, and I knew that I had to showcase this to engaged couples. Even more than showing how exquisite the venue itself was, I wanted to show the versatility of the building and the grounds, and how it could really take on an array of colors and styles.
