Joy and Alex’s wedding at The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Longboat Key, Florida was a romantic, garden-inspired celebration infused with personal meaning and stunning coastal elegance. Set on the beautiful Harbourside Lawn, their day reflected everything they love most: timeless beauty, a relaxed atmosphere, and the people who mean the most to them. With a color palette of white, greenery, and subtle hints of dusty blue and gold, the design was fresh, refined, and effortlessly chic. From their first meeting in Dallas to a beachside proposal on Venice Beach, their love story came full circle in a place that already held special memories. As Joy shared, “We chose Longboat Key Club because it was where Alex planned a surprise getaway after our engagement—and it meant the world to us.”

The Ceremony took place on the Harbourside Lawn, where a gentle breeze and soft sunlight set the scene for a heartfelt exchange of vows. Surrounded by lush greenery and timeless white florals, the couple said “I do” in a romantic garden setting. Gold accents and natural textures elevated the look while keeping the overall aesthetic soft and organic. It was an emotional, joyful moment—made even more meaningful by the fact that guests had traveled from near and far to celebrate with them. As Joy put it, one of their top priorities was “providing a fun experience for the guests that traveled,” and the entire day reflected that sentiment.

Following the Ceremony, guests gathered on the Harbourside Terrace for Cocktail Hour, where they were greeted with delicious hors d'oeuvres, fabulous drinks, custom cocktail napkins, and an elegant outdoor atmosphere. One of the couple’s favorite details was the escort card display—mini olive oil bottles with guest names, a charming and unique touch that combined style with function. These thoughtful elements were paired with disposable cameras at each guest table, encouraging guests to capture candid moments throughout the night. The blend of personal touches and intentional design made the experience feel warm, inviting, and uniquely “them.”

As the sun set, the celebration moved indoors to the Harbourside Ballroom, where Joy and Alex’s garden party vision took on a whimsical, romantic glow. Tables were adorned with beautiful blue glass chargers, soft floral arrangements, and golden accents, creating an elevated yet approachable feel. The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife surrounded by candlelight and the love of their friends and family—a moment they both described as the very best part of the day. Graingertainment brought the energy with music that kept the dance floor full all night long. “The first dance was our favorite moment,” Joy said, and you could feel the joy radiating through the entire room.

Reflecting on their planning journey, the couple emphasized how grateful they were to have the right team in place. “After our initial call with Lauren, we could tell right away that she was going to be the best fit for us,” Joy shared.
