Romantic Lakeside Styled Shoot at The Esplanade

The shoot will always be one of my favorites because it was fun to put together, and it was also the first styled shoot that I got to put together under the MDP Events brand! My color scheme consisted of shades of green, gold and white. The Esplanade was the perfect location because of its pretty ballroom, and gorgeous lakeside views!

Starting with the flatlay, the details of the invitation suite, created by A&P Designs, were delicate and beautiful! We always encourage our clients to budget for a full invitation suite because it sets the tone with guests for the wedding day! The gorgeous jewelry from Truly Forever Bridal, and delicate florals from Beneva really helped bring the entire flatlay together! I loved that just like the invitation suite, this flatlay really set the tone for the rest of the shoot!

The tablescape was a beautiful set up that consisted of linens and chargers from Linens by the Sea, glassware, china and flatware from Set and Styled, and florals from Beneva. The foundation was a gorgeous farm table, paired with crossback chairs, both from Palacios Events. The menu cards and table number from A&P Designs were the perfect addition to the detailed set up. Each piece of the tablescape was carefully selected to showcase the fine details that can be displayed, even through a simple color palette. At MDP Events, we absolutely ADORE color, and encourage all of our clients to pursue their vividly colored wedding dreams, but, we also wanted to showcase how a simple color palette can be accentuated with the right rentals! The gold beaded chargers and ornate gold flatware, for example, bring in delicate details that ultimately enhance the overall look and feel of the luxurious tablescape.

Some of the other options for elevating the wedding can be seen in the cakes and the mobile bar. The 3 gorgeous cakes created by Cake by Ron were picture perfect! Why have just one wedding cake when you can have three? It is a small switch up from the traditional wedding cake, but makes for a big impact and feels extra luxurious! Mobile bars are always a hit with guests and create an elevated bar experience, so including a mobile bar from The Wandering Whale in this shoot was an absolute must! Plus, how cute was the adorable bar lounge, also from The Wandering Whale? We love when our clients add lounge furniture, especially near the bar, as it is both luxurious, and functional, and makes for a great guest experience element!

I was absolutely obsessed with the lakeside sweetheart table and harpist! Once again, the farm table from Palacios Events was the perfect base. The lounge, also from Palacios Events, is another great example of small upgrades that a couple can make to add luxury elements to their day! While a lot of the elements on the sweetheart table carried over from the main tablescape, there were a few additions to help set the sweetheart table apart. This included the gorgeous compote arrangements created by Beneva, the florals on the ground mixed with the pillar candles, and the gorgeous gold arch and florals behind the table. While you certainly want your reception tablescapes to be cohesive, there should definitely be elements on the sweetheart table that are special and unique, and separate it from the rest of the tablescapes! The addition of the harp and harpist, Catie Canale Pflaumer, took the entire set up to the next level of luxury and sophistication. I really wanted to include the harpist to showcase to clients that even guest entertainment, like musicians, can greatly enhance the overall aesthetic cand vibe, as well!

I wanted to include the bounce house because I feel like guest entertainment and pure fun can sometimes get lost in the details, and because fun can also be luxurious and enhance the vibes of the day! The fabulous all-white bounce house from Boujee Bounce House was the perfect blend of wedding luxury, and child-like fun and entertainment. Combined with the gorgeous balloon display from The Modern Girl Party & Co, the set up perfectly showcased my vision!

Nothing screams luxury like a cold sparkler send off, so of course I had to include that! TLS Entertainment made that happen, and I loved how it came together! There are so many different options for send offs, but after hundreds of weddings, we highly recommend cold sparks send offs for 2 reasons - guest experience, and photos! By the end of the night, all of the guests are holding all of their belongings, and usually don't have enough hands to hold a glow wand or bubbles, so the cold sparks are a great visual, without them having to hold anything extra! And the PHOTOS are gorgeous!! Need I say more??

No styled shoot can truly come together without models, and I was so grateful to work with such a fun couple for this shoot! With hair and makeup from Adore Bridal, jewelry and dress from Truly Forever Bridal, and the suit from Sacino’s, they were styled to perfection! Limelight Photography and Namesake Creative videography captured every single detail beautifully, and were a pleasure to work with! Overall, it was such a pleasure to work with so many awesome vendors to help highlight some great options for our clients on how they can bring elevated details to their luxurious wedding day!
