The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Longboat Key, Florida provided a breathtaking coastal backdrop for Kelsey and Greg’s romantic and timeless wedding celebration. Designed with a lush palette of white and blue, the day blended whimsical florals, elegant textures, and classic coastal inspiration. Drawing from New England–style romance and heartfelt traditions, every detail felt intentional and deeply personal. “What mattered most to us was creating a wedding that felt deeply personal and meaningful,” the couple shared, and that sentiment was woven throughout the entire experience. From start to finish, the day felt warm, welcoming, and full of love.
The Ceremony took place on the Harbourside Lawn, overlooking the water and framed by a stunning full hydrangea chuppah that created a soft, romantic focal point. Prior to the vows, Kelsey and Greg shared a meaningful kettubah signing, honoring tradition and grounding the day in intention. Nearby, a sign reading, “To all of the love stories that came before us, thank you for showing us the way,” was displayed alongside photos from previous family weddings, adding an emotional and generational layer. As Kelsey walked down the aisle, the moment felt both intimate and grand. “Standing together, taking it all in, and realizing how much love surrounded us” became one of the most cherished memories of their day.
After the Ceremony, guests gathered for Cocktail Hour on the Harbourside Terrace, where coastal breezes and relaxed elegance set the tone. Corn hole games encouraged playful interaction, while cocktails flowed as friends and family mingled, a champagne tower added a celebratory statement. The atmosphere was light, joyful, and full of connection, reflecting the couple’s desire for a celebration centered on togetherness. “Our goal was to design a day centered on connection,” Kelsey explained, and this moment captured that vision perfectly. It was an effortless transition into the evening’s festivities.
The Reception unfolded inside the Harbourside Ballroom, transformed into a romantic yet energetic space with soft blue uplighting that enhanced the elegant white and blue design. A projected wedding monogram personalized the room. Cold sparks made a dramatic entrance during Reception introductions and the couple’s first dance, drawing cheers from the crowd. During the Reception, an ice sculpture luge served espresso martinis, delighting guests with an unexpected and fun experience. Noah Grey Music’s eight-piece band kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long.
As the evening continued, the celebration turned up a notch with glow wands, light-up cowboy hats, and a CO2 gun blasting through the crowd during dancing. The combination of high-energy entertainment and meaningful design created a night that felt both refined and wildly fun. Every detail reflected Kelsey and Greg’s journey, from how they met to the love that brought everyone together. “It truly felt like fate had been quietly weaving our story long before we officially met,” Kelsey shared, a feeling echoed throughout the celebration.
