Emerald Elegance: A Winter Styled Wedding Inspiration at The West Events

This Styled Shoot at The West Events in St. Petersburg, Florida, reimagined the classic winter wedding through a moody, modern, and whimsical lens. The design featured a bold palette of emerald green, black, copper, and white—offering a fresh take on traditional winter tones. The goal was to create a setting that felt both contemporary and deeply romantic, trading snowy whites for rich textures and jewel tones.

The Ceremony took place in The West’s indoor space, filled with soft natural light that glowed against dark, elegant details. Gabro Event Services’ gold chiavari chairs set the tone for guest arrival, providing a classic contrast to the modern emerald and copper decor. Blooming Flower Art designed a breathtaking floral installation featuring moss and cascading florals that brought the whimsical vision to life. The Ceremony backdrop was anchored by a copper arch from ADR Decor, tying in metallic warmth and modern flair. Together, these elements created a scene that felt intimate, enchanting, and deeply sophisticated.

The outdoor space was transformed into a lively winter scene—complete with faux snow machines by Spark Wedding Events that delighted everyone. Lounge furniture from Gabro Event Services offered cozy seating areas, perfect for mingling and soaking in the atmosphere. The standout feature was a champagne wall from Posy Exchange that doubled as a cheese and charcuterie display, with bamboo cones prepared by Board in Boston. Guests sipped on two signature cocktails designed by CB Lundy’s—one refreshing and one festive—setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The Reception space shimmered with modern drama and texture. Set and Styled provided copper flatware and crystal glassware that beautifully complemented Gabro’s linens and runners, while tapered candles and lanterns from ADR Decor cast a romantic glow. The floating emerald and copper-accented cake by Kristen Marie Cake stood out as a true centerpiece, showcasing intricate artistry and bold design. DJ Jam All Day kept the evening lively with high-energy entertainment, while Posy Exchange’s neon sign reading “’Tis the Season to be Married” added a playful and celebratory touch. Guests were immersed in a setting where every detail—from lighting to tablescape—felt cohesive, elevated, and inspired.

No Styled Shoot event would be complete without stunning fashion and refined details. The bride, Jackey, wore a long-sleeved gown from Truly Forever Bridal Tampa, perfectly paired with glowing hair and makeup by Brides by Kelly Anne. The groom, Jeff, wore a sleek suit from Mens Wearhouse that balanced timeless charm with modern style. Jewelry from International Diamond Company—including diamond rings and emerald drop earrings—added just the right amount of sparkle. Printed materials by Korynne Co and acrylic signage by Kulgra pulled the full design together, while Korynne’s menus and place cards, complete with copper tassels, added a chic finishing touch. The evening was a masterclass in creative collaboration—an elevated, modern vision of winter wedding magic.
