Tropical Whimsy & Luxe Details: Styled Wedding Inspiration at Westshore Yacht Club

Bringing a tropical wedding vision to life in Florida often leans into bold tones and classic beach elements—but this editorial shoot at The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club in Tampa, offered a vibrant, whimsical spin on that familiar aesthetic. The design drew inspiration from the textures and energy of the tropics, but softened the palette with bright pastels and layered organic details. Set against the yacht club’s classic waterfront charm, the shoot showcased how color-forward weddings can still feel elevated, luxurious, and thoughtfully curated.

The dynamic color palette of peach, bright and soft pinks, lilac, and vivid greens was reflected beautifully through the work of Save The Date Florida’s floral artistry. Their sculptural arrangements paired perfectly with specialty linens and textured napkins provided by Over the Top Rental Linens and the elegant tabletop rentals from Oak & Ash Events. Tropical fruit accents and modern lamps added a playful, fresh twist to the tablescapes. A&P Design Co. brought the look full circle with custom stationery suites that echoed the theme’s whimsy and sophistication.

The Bay Club’s versatile spaces allowed for multiple distinct vignettes to shine throughout the day. Whimsical floral pedestals framed the Ceremony area, creating a romantic, airy atmosphere. Two unique tablescape designs for the reception featured a mix of round and feasting tables with layered textures, candles, and vivid blooms. The floral-framed opening at the head table kept the couple in full view while adding dramatic softness. A chic lounge and bar area, styled with pastel umbrellas and delicate bud vases, provided a colorful, inviting spot for guests to relax. The luxurious chairs from Stella Rose Events elevated every scene with timeless elegance.

The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club’s classic old-money luxury atmosphere created the perfect backdrop, enhanced by Eddy Almaguer Photography’s vibrant captures and the cinematic storytelling of Northwood Films. Adore Bridal Hair and Makeup made sure every detail on the models was flawless, complementing the stylish fashion selections from Arden Bridal and AB2B Boutique. Fabas Sweet Shop contributed a beautifully designed cake, completing the editorial with a touch of sweetness.
